Tom Farms is a multi-generation, family owned organization firmly planted in the fertile prairies of Northern Indiana. Tom Farms has evolved into a global crop production, sales and service company and industry leader.  Today we are one of the leading suppliers to Monsanto’s seed production supply chain.

Agriculture, by nature, is an unpredictable business. Ensuring the shipment of more than 30 million pounds of seed corn, 100 million pounds of corn and 13 million pounds of soybeans each year requires innovation along with careful planning and quick thinking. Providing our customers with exceptional service is just the way we do business at Tom Farms. We do it by utilizing superior technology, round-the-clock vigilance and flawless execution—to lower costs and increase efficiency, combat weather and disease, and nourish the land—all while maximizing the productive capability of every single acre.

A leading supplier of seed corn, the company is internationally known for its innovation in agricultural production. With over 17,000 acres in production globally we put down roots in each of the communities and cultivate relationships built on honesty, reliability and value.

Driving our business

Tom Farms has built a business environment that embraces change in the structure, and has empowered employees to also accept and thrive on change. We have taken new leads in research and developing new production technologies which will help propel the business into being a preferred supplier of products and services into the future to the company’s customers. Tom Farms is adding to its focus and goals to move into manufacturing of consumer products.

 

Community

Tom Farms enjoys the community we live and work in, that’s why we try to give back in any way that we can.  We are pleased to hold tours, from local school children to adults, we are happy to show anyone around.  We sponsor sports teams as well as have a college scholarship, “Excellence in Agriculture” for any local student going into the field of agriculture.
